What motivates me to do what I do every day are the frequent positive comments from teachers and administrators about how their students are more motivated and engaged than ever using our programs.

For over 20 years, Darin has been involved in science education, both as a classroom teacher and as a curriculum sales representative.  For the past twelve years, he has had the pleasure of working directly with three of the most respected NSF funded and research-based curriculum development groups in K-12 Science Education in the U.S. This experience has allowed him to develop a strong depth of science curriculum knowledge firmly rooted in how students learn best.

Darin is a strong advocate for both teachers and students in the field and within the Lab-Aids organization.   “What motivates me to do what I do every day are the frequent positive comments from teachers and administrators about how their students are more motivated and engaged than ever using our programs.”

As a Curriculum Specialist for Lab-aids®, he has been consistently a top sales performer over his career, due in part to building strong successful relationships with districts of all sizes and with specific partners such as Loyola University, Iowa STEM, and several rural and urban systemic initiatives across his territory.  From filling gaps in curriculum, customizing professional development, or aligning an entire program to meet new NGSS standards, Darin brings a wealth of expertise and experience.

His interests outside of work are playing hockey, woodworking, fishing, and spending time with his wife and three children.
