Program Structure
The Issues and Science program includes 16 units in total, with intentionally flexible scope and sequence to align well with the Louisiana Science Standards.
Included Equipment
Our equipment is not added as an after thought - it is a fully integrated part of the program.
Each unit in Issues and Science includes a full set of equipment necessary to carry out the activities and investigations.

Labsent and Remote Learning
When students are absent during a lab, LABsent provides a modified experience that can be done from home. When appropriate, students can still collect and analyze data allowing them to be prepared to rejoin their group on their return. LABsent or Remote Learning Activities are available for every activity in Issues and Science.
Student Book & Notebooks
Warning! This is not a textbook. Often reviewers expect to see a textbook full of content with reading as the primary access to learning. Since our Student Books are an integrated part of a full program, including equipment, simulations, and rigorous, thoughtful activities - it's important to review them with that context in mind.
Navigation Guide Video
Prepared explicitly for reviewers, this video provides an overview of the program structure and where to start looking for alignment to the evaluation criteria within the rubric.
Professional Learning
Our trainings are like our programs; engaging, hands-on, and personally relevant. From our popular conference workshops and getting-started days to full year implementation and district-level train-the-trainer programs we are here to support our schools - now and in the future.
Our biggest success stories happen when a significant priority has been placed on long-term professional development in the district.
