Vice President and Chief Academic Officer

To teach is to make a life long commitment to learning - for our students and for ourselves. Lab-Aids can help teachers acquire new content and skills, whether they are veteran teachers, new to the profession, or somewhere in between.

Mark joined Lab-Aids in 1999 and oversees all curriculum development and professional development efforts for the company. He works closely with our program authors and science education faculty partners to develop and deliver new materials and approaches for teaching and learning science.

Prior to joining Lab-Aids, he was Director of Curriculum Products for VWR Scientific, and Assistant Director of SEPUP, at the Lawrence Hall of Science, University of California, Berkeley.  His publications include books, book chapters and journal articles, and he has led professional development workshops for thousands of science teachers over the years.
