Spread love everywhere you go. Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier.

Brenda, was born and raised in Brazil until the age of 13, where she and family would travel to low-income schools throughout Brazil, donating school supplies and kits to underprivileged children. At a young age she understood the power of education and the success one can achieve with the right tools in students’ hands.
After moving to the United States and graduating from the University of Iowa, Brenda knew that she wanted to continue her journey in helping people – more so, children. With the hope of creating a world where children love to learn, she began her career as educational consultant in Chicago, offering supplemental curriculum aligned to state standards, to schools thru out the greater Chicago Land area. After seven years in Chicago (and thunder snow) she moved to sunny Southern California.
With an understanding of the importance of STEM in schools and with the attitude of “I’m here to help!”, she has partnered with several districts and schools in greater Los Angeles offering curriculum resources and teacher support. Now with Lab-Aids as a Curriculum Specialist, she offers Science programs that are aligned to NGSS, that are engaging and fun for students, and that has proven to increase student interest, engagement and academic success.
Brenda currently lives in Long Beach California with her two kids (chihuahuas), Maybe and Leon.
